Unsere zw\u00f6lf G\u00e4ste aus Barcelona (L&#8217;Hospitalet) wurden in den deutschen Gastfamilien herzlich aufgenommen und konnten an einem vielf\u00e4ltigen Programm zum Thema &#8222;Energy-Transition in the heart of Europe&#8220; teilnehmen. Dabei erf\u00fcllte die Woche verschiedene unserer UNESCO-Leitziele. Es fand ein interkultureller Austausch statt, aber auch der Bereich der Bildung f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung stand mit dem Thema &#8222;Energiewende&#8220; im Fokus. Hierzu wurden das &#8222;Energeticon&#8220; in Alsdorf, das Zukunftsviertel in D\u00fcsseldorf, das Gastkraftwerk &#8222;Lausward&#8220; in D\u00fcsseldorf (Foto) sowie der Tagebau Garzweiler 2 und Keyenberg besucht. Ein Gespr\u00e4ch mit der ersten B\u00fcrgermeisterin Frau Gauselmann lieferte zudem Einblicke in die energetische Transformation in M\u00f6nchengladbach. Die Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler erhielten so Einblicke in die Energieproduktion und Herausforderungen der Energiewende in Deutschland.
